Our students, 3D TANG Wing, 3D YIP Hei Ching, 4C LI Nim Chi, 4D TSANG Hiu Yu, 5B LAI Hau Ying, 5B MAN Hei Ching, 5B SHUI Lok Ching, 5C LEE Ka Lam, and 5C LEUNG Cheuk Yau, participated in the “Hong Kong Outstanding Student Service Ambassador Award Programme” organized by Rotary International District 3450 this academic year.
The team independently planned and implemented a community service project themed “Disease Prevention and Treatment.” By integrating classroom knowledge with real-life needs, they designed innovative disease identification measures tailored to the elderly. With their outstanding overall performance, rigorous service report, and significant social impact, the team stood out among numerous participants and was awarded the Champion in the “Disease Prevention and Treatment” category, as well as the Overall Champion of the competition—an impressive achievement.
The award-winning students were also invited to attend the 66th District Conference of Rotary International District 3450 to present their project outcomes to distinguished leaders and guests from various sectors. On stage, they demonstrated confidence and clarity in presenting their work, sharing both the effectiveness of their project and their reflections on the service process. This valuable experience not only broadened their horizons but also enabled them to apply health knowledge and related skills in real community settings. It further strengthened their sense of responsibility and civic awareness, highlighting the true meaning of service learning.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning students.
