Our school is dedicated to nurturing our students in pursuing their life and career goals according to their personal interests, aptitudes, and aspirations. The Life Planning Education Committee (LPE Committee) equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to empower them to make informed and responsible decisions in actualizing their career and life plans for a purposeful life.
A comprehensive school-based career and life planning education curriculum, aligned with students’ developmental stages, is implemented from S1 to S6. Diverse career exploration activities are organized for students to explore education and career opportunities, such as university admission talks, career talks and workshops, workplace visits, work experience activities, job shadowing programs, and exploration tours outside Hong Kong. Students are also provided with opportunities to engage in career or training programs offered by local universities and professional organizations. Under the MST Mentorship Program, alumni with rich knowledge and experience in the workplace and professions are invited to become mentors for our senior students. The valuable sharing and connections established inspire and enhance students' career planning and management.
The LPE Committee also provides guidance and counseling services tailored to students’ individual needs, especially during key transitions. Talks, workshops, and workplace visits are also offered to parents to enhance their ability to assist their children in planning and setting goals at different stages to achieve their ideal dreams.
