During the post-examination activity period (from 8 July 2026 to 9 July 2026), the External Affairs Committee and the Life Planning Education Committee of our school led 29 Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 students on a two-day study tour to Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Through first-hand observations and personal experiences, the tour aimed to deepen students' understanding of the latest developments across various industries in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). This included exploring the manpower demands of different sectors, the business landscape of Hong Kong enterprises operating in the GBA, and the collaboration between businesses in both regions.
Students visited Guangdong Chubang Food Co., Ltd., Macao New Food Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Xinbaotang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., gaining valuable insights into the current trends and developments of the food and beverage industry in the GBA. Additionally, they conducted field visits to the Zhuxi Advanced Industry Talents Entrepreneurship and Innovation Park and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Cooperation Platform. These visits allowed them to see how the country provides diverse entrepreneurial support and incubation services for aspiring youth from Hong Kong and Macao, highlighting the development potential and career opportunities available in Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Focused on the theme of "Career Exploration in the Greater Bay Area," the study tour proved highly beneficial for both teachers and students.
