2026-03-11

The School Counselling and Guidance Committee, together with the Moral, Civic and National Education Committee, successfully held *Resilience Week* from 4th to 11th March. The event aimed to help students cultivate a positive and proactive attitude towards life through diverse experiential learning activities that strengthened their ability to face challenges and adversity.

This year’s programme was rich and varied, with highlights including the “Fish Feeding Experience”, an “Aromatherapy Workshop”, and the “Connected Minds: Youth Mental Wellness Exhibition” organised by the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services, which introduced mental health information and practical ways to support peers. During the weekly assembly, a guest speaker also shared insights on how adventure-based activities can enhance resilience and encourage students to grow through hands-on experiences.

The signature event of the week—the “Good Mood Game Booth Day”—was a great success. Booths were designed and operated by members of the Student Wellness Club and the Wellness Ambassadors under the “JC LevelMind@School” programme. Community partners, including the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services, Mind Hong Kong, and The Salvation Army, also set up interactive booths that added to the lively atmosphere. The popular egg waffle stall was a crowd favourite, filling the campus with laughter and warmth, fostering a sense of care and connection within the school community.
