To provide students with more opportunities to showcase their talents and to promote a greater diversity of performing arts, the newly established event-organizing body MST Pioneer held the second “MST Got Talent” on 28 January 2026. On this occasion, the team collaborated with the a cappella group “MySTery” to present a captivating a cappella performance for our teachers and students.

MySTery performed three moving songs, namely “Stand by Me”, “Birds of a Feather” and “至少做一件離譜的事”. The first two pieces featured a lively melody, complemented by the performers’ beautiful harmonies, highlighting the power of friendship and the importance of supporting one another in times of adversity. They radiated a positive and uplifting energy, reminding students that even when they face hardships, they are never alone. The singers’ gentle yet resolute voices brought out the deeper meaning of the lyrics and resonated strongly with the audience. The final piece, a well-known Cantonese song among young people, combined an infectious melody with impactful lyrics, encouraging students to express themselves with courage, follow their hearts, and break through their own limits.

Although the three songs differ in style, they convey similar emotions and messages. Each piece touches on the challenges and difficulties commonly encountered in life, while at the same time emphasizing the courage and solidarity needed to face them. Through music, we hope that students not only enjoy the performance, but also gain inspiration and room for reflection from the songs.

“MST Got Talent” will continue to serve as a platform for more students to demonstrate their strengths in front of their peers and shine on stage. A series of diverse performances is on the way, so please stay tuned.
