Students from our school, including Lee Wing Yin(4B), Yeung Wing Yee(4B), Lai Hau Ying(4B), Lee Yuen Kiu(4D), and Chim Wai Kei Vicky(5D), participated in the "Family Channel Microfilm Competition 2025 (Youth Category)" organized by the Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong. Their script "The Door", which explores parent-child relationships, earned them a spot in the final top 20 teams. As a result, they attended a professional microfilm production course and transformed their concept into a complete film.
On August 15, the students attended the "[Family + Light] Microfilm Competition Screening and Awards Ceremony", where they had the valuable opportunity to interact with and learn from renowned directors such as Nick Cheuk ("Time Still Turns the Pages"), Ka Sing Fung ("Lost Love"), and Chan Siu Kuen ("Montages of a Modern Motherhood"). Through these exchanges, they gained insights into how these filmmakers address parent-child themes in their works, benefiting greatly from the experience.
