On 12 July 2025, the delegations of teachers and students from Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School and Dongguan Hengli Middle School visited our school to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Distinguished guests included Ms. Huang Xujuan, Assistant Principal of Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School, Ms. Sun Yuanyuan and Ms. Zheng Xiaomin from Dongguan Hengli Middle School, as well as outstanding student representatives: national first-class athlete in table tennis, Zhong Yu; champion of the Top Ten Secondary School Singers Competition, Wu Yue; and runner-up of the Dongguan Instrumental Music Competition (Junior Secondary Group), Chen Liyan.

Our Principal, Ms. Wong Lee Lee, warmly welcomed the guests alongside Mr. Lau Wai Yip, Mr. Wong Man Wai, and Mr. Tsang Chiu Po. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on education development, fostering a warm and cordial atmosphere throughout the visit.

The itinerary was rich and meaningful. After exchanging souvenirs, the guests sampled Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage through local delicacies such as traditional tofu pudding and Hong Kong-style milk tea, experiencing the essence of local culture. Our students, Xia Mandy and Yang Xin Lei from Class 3C, then presented a detailed introduction to the school’s history, educational philosophy, and campus life, vividly showcasing our unique approach to nurturing students.

Following this, Mr. Lo Ho Hin, Mr. Yan On Sheung, and Ms. Ip Hiu To from the STEM Team delivered a thematic presentation on achievements in technological education, highlighting our school’s innovations and breakthroughs in teaching practices. The guests were then guided on a campus tour and continued their exchange during a luncheon, further solidifying the bonds of friendship.

In the evening, the sister school delegations joined our entire school community to enjoy the “50th Anniversary Variety Show.” The students’ outstanding performances earned enthusiastic applause from the audience. This visit deepened collaboration through cultural resonance and celebrated a significant milestone with an artistic feast, adding a profound sense of camaraderie to our anniversary series of events.
