Someone in the middle raised his hand and made a 2-point shot. The ball was moving forward with a high arc while everybody was trailing its locus. No score! It became a loose ball in the air.
And the REBOUND!
Slipping through a sea of hands, an energetic player, who wasted no time thinking, jumped up and scored a 2-point shot. A huge roar came from the crowd, drawing every MST-er・s attention and refreshing every exhausted player・s mind. The team had a 2-point advantage, leaving their opponents behind. That was the Inter-house Basketball Competition, as exciting and breathtaking as all other inter-house competitions.
Recently, our school held an Inter-house Basketball Competition. It was divided into three streams, Senior, Junior and Open, for boys and girls separately. The Girls・ Open was held on Friday, 02/11. Faith House defeated Hope House by extremely high marks. The Boy・s Junior matches results were also amazing. At the critical moment, a Love House player made his critical move. ：Bee!； With the thrilling whistle sound, Love House scored 30-29 to beat Wisdom House. This result nearly gave the audience a heart attack!
The final rounds of the Boy・s Senior and the Girl・s Open were held on 05/11. These were the greatest events of in November 2007 in MST.
After the Inter-house Basketball Competition, the School Union will continue to hold a series of activities for the rest of this academic year. These include not only the upcoming Inter-house Volleyball Competition, but also some brand new and interesting activities, which have never been held in our school. The catchiest among these are the Teacher-student Cooking Competition and the Wii Sports Competition. By joining these competitions, students can surely enjoy cooking with teachers and try to guess who the best cook in MST is. Moreover, we believe that these competitions will be the most special in recent years and will definitely attract an extremely large number of students to join. Obviously, no one would ever miss the chance of enjoying all these activities with their teachers in such a relaxing atmosphere.
