In this new school year, our school has some new features! We've got a "colorful" basketball court, renovated toilets, and a new foyer near the fishpond. Although the renovation work during the Summer Holiday caused some inconvenience, we are all happy to see the new look and the new facilities which bring us a better learning environment.
Why do we say the basketball court is "colorful"? What we can see is a sharp red-blue-green picture, which draws everybody's attention. It has become the new "must-see" spot in our school.
The renovated washrooms are much more comfortable. In fact, the green tiles in the Boy's washrooms and the yellow tiles in the Girl's give us a fresh, modern and clean impression. Compared with the washrooms before, the new ones can be described as "unimaginable".
We do not only see our school facilities in a newlight, but also new faces in MST.
On the way to school, I saw many familiar faces and some new faces. 'Welcome! New schoolmates!' I thought. When I walked into school, my heart was thumping with excitement. I was amazed by the dynamic environment. I saw the principal, teachers and friends smile to me. I heard MST students chatting in high spirit. The atmosphere was filled with hustle and bustle. I realized how warm and affable MST students are.
As we haven't seen each other for almost two months, students must be very excited in chatting with others. However, we should begin concentrating on our studies. As the principal said in the assembly, "A + B + C = Success". With a good learning attitude, belief in ourselves and competence, we can expect success in our studies. I will remember this motto deeply in my heart. I am sure you have also benefited from these words. Also, I want to express my warmest welcome to all new teachers and students! You don't need to worry about the new environment. After studying in MST for five years, I find that it is really a warm place for us to enjoy school life. I assure you that you will get accustomed to the new environment very soon.
In this year, we should not only aim at achieving better school results, but also learning how to get along with others. We should also learn to love our school and our new school facilities, as the school is our family.
We should give thanks to our Lord for giving us this family. We should cherish it and enjoy our coming new school year.
